School wildlife pond unveiled by Borders TV presenter Fiona Armstrong

A stunning wildlife pond at a school near Carlisle has been opened with the help of Borders TV personality Fiona Armstrong and BSW Timber.

The presenter was on hand to cut the ribbon for the new wildlife area at High Hesket Primary School, which has been constructed with Timeless Timber decking.

Britain’s largest sawmilling business dispatched Timeless Timber to the school after hearing of the plans. The official opening ceremony on 11th July was also attended by school pupils and teachers.

Bryan Crennell, Marketing Manager at BSW Timber, says: “The wildlife pond and garden is a fantastic addition to the school. Timeless Timber has proved to be the perfect product for the decking because of its durability. We are proud to be associated with such a worthwhile project.

“Timeless Timber decking offers a cost effective way to give areas such as ponds and gardens a stylish transformation, combining the traditional appeal of natural materials with modern design and lifestyle choice."

"The Timeless Timber decking enables the children to experience the full benefits of the wildlife garden and pond. The school was impressed with the 20 year warranty and the fact that the high quality and performance of Timeless Timber decking is recognised by the Timber Decking Association (TDA).”
