Like so many other things, no matter how great things look on the surface, it’s what goes on underneath that really matters. It’s the joists and posts that support your decking that really hold the key to a successful project as they form the very foundation of your decking, if they don’t perform as they should, then the life of your decking can be affected, it’s as simple as that. Like our deckboards, the Timeless Timber Decking joists and posts are made from high quality European Redwood which has been pressure treated to Use Class 4. This means that the products are suitable for in-ground contact unlike many joists that are only suitable for interior use. The joists are also kiln dried and strength graded. This means that they have improved strength, more dimensional stability, and are light weight and easier to handle.
Don’t compromise the quality of your project make sure that you use Timeless Timber joists and posts and your decking will stand the test of time for as long as twenty years. After all, with decking this good you want to pick up the compliments for as long as you possibly can. Joists are available in 47x150mm and in 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m,and 4.8m lengths. Posts are available in 75x75mm and 100x100mm, and in 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.4m, and 3.0m lengths.
