NHBC Guidelines
New Standards published by the NHBC now include guidance on timber deck construction that came into effect on 1 July 2004. These new guidelines clarify the situation for builders to follow the specification guidelines of the Timber Decking Association (TDA) when constructing a deck as part of a new property. These new guidelines now act as a further recommendation for the “Best Practice” on materials, designs and installation techniques which the Timber Decking Association and Timeless Timber practice.
